Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and can also be found on certain myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 acts as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR), regulating B cell proliferation and differentiation. Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression may cause B cell hyperactivity.
