Target Information
CYP1A2 유전자는 cytochrome P450 초과족에 속하는 효소를 암호화합니다. 이 효소들은 약물 대사 및 콜레스테롤, 스테로이드, 기타 지질 합성에 관여하는 monooxygenase 역할을 합니다. 단백질은 소포체에 위치하며, 일부 다환 방향족 탄화수소(PAHs)에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다. 내인성 기질은 알려지지 않았으나, 일부 PAHs를 발암성 중간체로 대사할 수 있습니다. 또한 caffeine, aflatoxin B1, acetaminophen 등의 xenobiotic 기질을 대사합니다. 해당 유전자의 전사체는 3' 비번역 영역에 직접 반복으로 둘러싸인 네 개의 Alu 서열을 포함합니다.
