Target Information
NALP11 is a 1033 amino acid cytoplasmic protein belonging to the NLRP family, containing a DAPIN domain, six leucine-rich repeats (LRR), and a NACHT domain.
It is implicated in inflammation regulation and activation of proinflammatory caspases (e.g., CASP1) via inflammasome complexes.
The DAPIN domain is essential for suppression of NF-κB activation induced by TNF and for IL-1β secretion in collaboration with Caspase-1.
NALP11 also interacts with PYCARD.
