Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I (Cardiac-specific troponin I, TnI, Troponin I)는 심근 수축 조절 복합체인 troponin C (TnC), troponin T (TnT)와 함께 작용하는 심근 특이적 억제 단백질입니다.
TnI는 actin과 결합하여 근육의 얇은 필라멘트 내에서 troponin-tropomyosin 복합체를 안정화시키며, 칼슘이 TnC에 결합하면 TnI의 억제 부위가 actin에서 분리되어 myosin 결합을 가능하게 하여 근육 수축을 유도합니다.
혈중 TnI 및 TnT 수준 측정은 심근 손상 진단의 주요 지표로, 협심증과 심근경색을 감별하는 데 사용됩니다. 또한 Cardiac Troponin I는 혈관신생을 억제하는 기능을 가지며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비후성 심근병증(CMH7) 및 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
