Target Information
AGT 유전자는 간에서 발현되는 pre-angiotensinogen(angiotensinogen precursor)을 암호화합니다. 혈압이 낮아질 때 renin 효소에 의해 절단되어 angiotensin I을 생성하며, 이는 ACE(angiotensin converting enzyme)에 의해 angiotensin II로 전환됩니다. 이 단백질은 혈압 유지 및 본태성 고혈압, 자간전증 등의 병태생리에 관여합니다. 또한 AGT 유전자 변이는 신세뇨관 형성 이상, 비가족성 심방세동, 염증성 장질환 등과 연관되어 있습니다.
