For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease belonging to the kallikrein family, produced by prostate epithelial cells and abundant in seminal fluid.
It can be detected in serum of patients with prostatic carcinoma, predominantly complexed with alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT).
A higher proportion of PSA-ACT complex is found in prostate cancer compared to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
PSA serves as a marker to confirm prostatic acinar cell origin in primary and metastatic carcinoma and to distinguish from non-prostatic carcinoma mimics.
