Target Information

Sarcomere assembly는 근육 단백질 titin에 의해 조절됩니다. Titin은 거대 탄성 단백질로, kinase 활성을 가지며 사코메어 길이의 절반을 차지합니다.
TCAP은 횡문근 및 심근에서 발견되는 단백질로, titin의 Z1-Z2 도메인에 결합하고 titin kinase의 기질로 작용합니다. 이러한 상호작용은 사코메어 조립에 필수적입니다.
TCAP 유전자 돌연변이는 limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2G와 관련이 있습니다.
