Target Information
Tyrosine phosphorylation plays a key role in signal transduction from transmembrane receptors and in oncogenic transformation. Phosphotyrosine-specific antibodies, such as clone pY20, are essential tools for studying phosphorylated tyrosine residues and related biochemical pathways. The FITC conjugate of clone pY20 is particularly useful for immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical detection of phosphotyrosine-containing proteins without the need for secondary antibodies.
