Target Information
IRAK3 (Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3) is a serine/threonine kinase and a member of the IRAK protein family, which are essential components of the Toll/IL-1 receptor immune signaling pathways. It is primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages and functions as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling. IRAK3 plays a critical role in innate immunity and is implicated in immunocompromised conditions during sepsis. Mutations in IRAK3 are associated with susceptibility to asthma.
