Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broad immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
FGFR3 is a member of the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate cellular functions such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, differentiation, and tissue repair.
FGFR family members differ in ligand affinities and tissue distribution. FGFR3 binds acidic and basic fibroblast growth factors, influencing mitogenesis and differentiation, and plays a role in bone development and maintenance.
Mutations in FGFR3 are associated with craniosynostosis and various skeletal dysplasias. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
