Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L, CD154) is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of T cells.
It:
- Stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines
- Induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in monocytes
- Co-stimulates proliferation of activated T cells, accompanied by IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2 production
