Target Information
SARM1은 NAD(+) 대사를 조절하여 손상 후 축삭 퇴화를 유도하는 NAD(+) 가수분해효소로, MYD88 및 TRIF 의존성 톨유사수용체 신호경로의 음성 조절자로 작용합니다. 손상 시 NAD(+)를 ADP-D-ribose, cyclic ADPR, nicotinamide로 절단하여 축삭 파괴를 촉진합니다. 또한 NADP(+)를 가수분해할 수 있으며, 신경세포 스트레스 반응 시 세포 사멸을 유도합니다. MAPK4-JNK 경로를 통해 수상돌기 가지 형성에도 관여하며, 선천면역 반응 조절에도 역할을 합니다.
