Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues: incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the retinoid X receptor (RXR) family of nuclear receptors involved in mediating the effects of retinoic acid (RA).
The receptor forms homodimers with retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and vitamin D receptors, enhancing both DNA binding and transcriptional function on their respective response elements.
The gene is located within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II region on chromosome 6.
