Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of PASK only when phosphorylated at Thr1165.
Target Information
PASK is an evolutionarily conserved protein present in yeast, flies, and mammals. PAS domains regulate many intracellular signaling pathways in response to both extrinsic and intrinsic stimuli. PASKIN contains two PAS domains (PAS A and PAS B) and a serine/threonine kinase domain related to AMP kinases. PASKIN activity decreases carbohydrate storage and increases protein synthesis. PASKIN-dependent phosphorylation inhibits mammalian glycogen synthase activity.
