Target Information
Leucine-rich, glioma inactivated gene 2 (LGI2)는 LGI 패밀리의 구성원으로, 대표적인 LGI1과 높은 상동성을 가집니다. LGI 패밀리는 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs)를 포함하는 네 개의 단백질로 구성되어 있으며, 세포막 신호전달 분자 및 수용체와 유사한 구조를 가집니다. LGI1은 교모세포종의 종양 억제 유전자로 알려져 있으며, 청각 증상을 동반한 측두엽 간질(ADTLE)과 관련이 있습니다. LGI2는 LGI1과 유사한 발현 패턴을 보이지만, ADTLE과의 관련성은 보고되지 않았습니다.
