Product Specific Information
- Heat-mediated antigen retrieval using a sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended for staining of paraffin sections.
- Suggested positive control for IHC applications: lymph node.
- For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
Target Information
Thrombomodulin (TM), also known as Fetomodulin (FM), endothelial anticoagulant protein, or glycoprotein P112, contains six EGF-like domains and an amino-terminal lectin-like domain. TM accelerates activation of protein C, contributing to thrombo-resistance and reducing clot formation on endothelial surfaces. Immunohistochemical staining for TM is used in studies of vascular tumors, meningiomas, and choriocarcinomas.
