LYVE1은 림프관 벽에서 히알루론산(HA)을 인식하는 주요 수용체로 확인되었습니다. LYVE1은 322개의 아미노산으로 구성된 type I integral membrane glycoprotein이며, CD44 HA 수용체와 약 41%의 유사성을 보입니다.
LYVE1은 림프관 내피세포에서 주로 발현되며, 백혈구 및 종양세포의 림프절 이동 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
림프관계는 조직의 세포외액을 배출하고 면역세포가 항원을 인식할 수 있는 환경을 제공합니다. LYVE1, PALE, VEGFR3, podoplanin은 림프관 내피의 주요 마커로 알려져 있습니다.
LYVE1 기능 이상은 Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
