Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody SOX11-C1 (C1) recognizes human Sox11. Sox11 is a transcription factor belonging to the SOX (sex determining region Y-related HMG Box) family. It is expressed during embryonic development in the central nervous system and plays roles in neuronal maturation and epithelial-mesenchymal interactions. Sox11 is required for the survival of neuronal and mesenchymal progenitor cells.

Sox11 expression is observed in mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), subsets of hairy cell leukemias, Burkitt lymphomas, and B cell lymphoblastic leukemias, but not in other B cell lymphomas or normal B lymphocytes. It is also expressed in epithelial ovarian cancer and gliomas.

Applications Reported: Suitable for immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested: Tested in IHC using human tissue at ≤10 µg/mL. Antibody titration is recommended for optimal assay performance.

eFluor® 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 647. Emission at 659 nm, excitation at 633 nm (red laser). Ensure instrument compatibility.
