For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PCNA (Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen) is essential for DNA replication and participates in DNA excision and mismatch repair pathways. It binds to multiple partners including CDK inhibitor p21, Fen1, XPG, and DNA cytosine 5-methyltransferase (MCMT).
PCNA serves as a marker for proliferating cells and is useful for assessing tumor proliferation status. It is localized in the nucleus, acts as a cofactor for DNA polymerase delta, and forms a homotrimer to enhance leading strand synthesis during replication.
Upon DNA damage, PCNA is ubiquitinated and participates in RAD6-dependent DNA repair. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein exist, and pseudogenes are found on chromosome 4 and the X chromosome.
