Product Specific Information

Target Information
PARC (Parkin-like ubiquitin ligase) acts as a cytoplasmic anchor for p53-associated protein complexes. Inactivation of PARC leads to nuclear localization of p53 and activation of p53-dependent apoptosis, while overexpression promotes cytoplasmic sequestration of p53. PARC knockout mice are viable without obvious phenotype, suggesting functional redundancy with other cullin family E3 ubiquitin ligases. p53 binding to PARC may regulate PARC function.
