Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

YAP (Yes-Associated Protein) is a transcriptional co-activator and oncogene, belonging to the WW domain family of proteins. It is transcriptionally activated in squamous cell carcinoma cells and functions as both a coactivator and corepressor. YAP is a critical downstream regulatory target in the Hippo signaling pathway, which controls organ size and tumor suppression by limiting cell proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
Additionally, YAP plays key roles in tissue tension, 3D tissue architecture, cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. Mutations in the IRF5 gene have been associated with coloboma.
