Neutralization: Anti-Mouse VEGF Receptor 2 has the ability to neutralize the biological activity of recombinant mouse VEGF Receptor 2 on HUVE (human umbilical vein endothelial) cells in the presence of recombinant mouse VEGF Receptor 2/Fc (50 ng/mL) and recombinant mouse VEGF (5 ng/mL).
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Target Information
KDR (FLK1, VEGFR2) is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase that binds vascular endothelial growth factor with high affinity in vitro and is expressed early in development by endothelial cell precursors. FLK1 (VEGF Receptor 2) encodes one of the two receptors of VEGF, known as kinase insert domain receptor. The signaling and trafficking of this receptor are regulated by multiple factors, including Rab GTPase, P2Y purine nucleotide receptor, integrin alphaVbeta3, and T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase. Mutations of FLK1 (VEGF Receptor 2) are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas.
