Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
STAT1 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 1) is a transcription factor activated by interferons (α, β, γ), EGF, PDGF, and IL6.
It regulates genes involved in cell growth, apoptosis, immune responses, and lipid metabolism.
STAT1 is phosphorylated by JAK tyrosine kinases and translocates to the nucleus to modulate gene transcription.
The STAT1 gene is located on chromosome 2, and two alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
STAT1 activation occurs via multiple ligand families, including IFN, gp130, and receptor tyrosine kinases.
