Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PRKY (protein kinase, Y-linked) is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, belonging to the subfamily of cAMP-dependent kinases.
Encoded by a gene located near the pseudoautosomal region on chromosome Y, PRKY contains a protein kinase domain that catalyzes ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins.
PRKY and its X-linked counterpart PRKX are involved in macrophage differentiation and renal epithelial cell migration.
Mutations in PRKY or PRKX genes are associated with sex reversal disorders (XX males and XY females).
