Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG2b kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This eBMG2b antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and has been tested on normal human peripheral blood and mouse splenocytes.
Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 395 (BUV395) emits at 395 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with an ultraviolet (355 nm) laser. Ensure your instrument can detect this fluorochrome.

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune responses, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
