Product Specific Information
The 3D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CCR7 (CD197), a G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor acting as a receptor for CCL19 and CCL21. CCR7 is expressed on T cells and dendritic cells (DCs) and is involved in cell migration, chemotaxis, and maturation processes.
For optimal staining, incubation time should be at least 45 minutes at 2–8°C.
This antibody is pre-diluted and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test.
CCR7 expression helps distinguish naive, central, and effector memory T cell populations.

Target Information
CCR7 belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor family and is induced by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). It is expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph node, and intestine, particularly in activated B and T lymphocytes. CCR7 regulates memory T cell migration to inflamed tissues and dendritic cell maturation.
Its specific ligands include chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19/ECL).
C-C chemokine receptors such as CCR1–CCR5 are key mediators of T cell chemotaxis and phagocyte migration during inflammation.
