Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MKL1 protein interacts with myocardin, a transcription factor regulating smooth muscle cell differentiation. It is predominantly nuclear and may transduce signals from the cytoskeleton to the nucleus. A specific translocation event involving MKL1 and the RNA-binding motif protein-15 gene has been associated with acute megakaryocytic leukemia.
