Product Specific Information

The GIGD7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT, VSTM3, WUCAM), a 26 kDa protein in the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family.
In mice, TIGIT is expressed in follicular T helper cells, while in humans it is expressed on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells, but not on B cells or naive CD4+ T cells. TIGIT expression is upregulated upon CD4+ T cell activation.
TIGIT interacts with PVR and PVR-like family members such as CD155, mediating interactions between NK/T cells and antigen-presenting cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells expressing these proteins.

This GIGD7 antibody has been validated by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and can be used at ≤1 µg/test (in 100 µL final volume). Cell count may vary from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information

Binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), leading to increased IL10 secretion, decreased IL12B secretion, and suppression of T cell activation by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells.
