Product Specific Information
This hamster IgG fraction was purified by affinity chromatography from normal Golden Syrian Hamster serum.
This antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
This isotype control antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Please ensure your instrument can detect this fluorochrome.
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information
Isotype controls help differentiate non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal by providing a negative control without relevant antigen specificity.
They are commonly used in flow cytometry, but also applicable to ChIP, immunohistochemistry, and gel shift assays.
Isotype controls should match the primary antibody species and isotype for accurate comparison, and when using directly labeled antibodies, the control should have the same conjugate.
