Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3) is a key transcriptional regulator of type I interferon (IFN)-dependent immune responses.
It plays a central role in innate immunity against DNA and RNA viruses by regulating transcription of type I IFN genes (IFN-α and IFN-β) and IFN-stimulated genes (ISG) via binding to interferon-stimulated response elements (ISRE) in their promoters.
IRF3 is activated through phosphorylation by IKBKE and TBK1 kinases, leading to dimerization, nuclear translocation, and activation of IFN and ISG transcription.
Mutations in IRF3 can be associated with acute infection-induced encephalopathy.
