The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported:
This Mouse IgG2b, Kappa Isotype Control PE-Cyanine7 has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use this isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect the vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Fluorophore Information:
Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 702 nm.
Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass.

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product #SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens.
It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a role in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
