Target Information
DNA-PK는 DNA 손상 반응에 관여하는 헤테로트리머성 DNA 의존성 단백질 키나아제로, PI3 키나아제와 구조적으로 유사합니다. DNA-PK는 매개 복합체(mediator complex)의 구성 요소를 암호화하며, 이는 대부분의 유전자 발현에 필수적인 전사 공동활성화 복합체로 알려져 있습니다. 매개 복합체는 전사 활성화 인자 또는 핵 수용체에 의해 모집되어 RNA polymerase II와 상호작용함으로써 전사 전 개시 복합체 형성을 촉진할 수 있습니다. DNA-PK는 여러 전사 변이체를 통해 다양한 아이소폼을 생성합니다.
