Target Information
Transferrin receptor는 철분의 세포 내 흡수를 매개하는 수용체로, transferrin-ligand 복합체의 내포(endocytosis)를 통해 철분을 세포 내로 운반합니다. Endosome의 산성화로 철이 방출되며, apotransferrin-receptor 복합체는 세포 표면으로 재순환되어 pH 중성 상태에서 해리됩니다. Transferrin receptor는 적혈구 및 신경계 발달에 필수적이며, 혈청 transferrin receptor(sTfR)는 EPO 남용 탐지 및 다양한 빈혈 진단 지표로 사용됩니다.
