PA1-007 detects ERp72 protein in human and mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in ICC, IF, and Western blot procedures.
By Western blot, this antibody detects a 72 kDa ERp72 protein in human fibrosarcoma HT1080 cell lysate.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues K(629)–EEL(645) of human ERp72.
This peptide (Cat. # PEP-223) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
Target Information
ERp72 is an endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein that functions as a stress protein and member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) family.
It shares sequence identity with PDI at three regions and contains the ER retention signal KEEL at its C-terminus.
ERp72 possesses three CGHC-containing active sites involved in protein disulfide isomerization, functioning as a molecular chaperone.
