Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TGF-beta is a ubiquitously expressed cytokine that signals through the Smad protein family to regulate cellular processes such as embryonic development and tumorigenesis. This pathway is negatively regulated by Ski and SnoN proteins.
SnoN binds Smad proteins to prevent their phosphorylation, thereby inhibiting DNA binding and transcriptional activation of downstream genes. In cancer tissues, SnoN is primarily nuclear, whereas in normal epithelial cells it is cytoplasmic.
