Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine IP-10 (CXCL10). The anti-Murine IP-10 (CXCL10)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine IP-10 (CXCL10) (500-P129) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine IP-10 (CXCL10).

Western Blot:
For detection of mIP-10 by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Combined with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mIP-10 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse also known as cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) is a highly inducible primary response gene belonging to the CXC chemokine superfamily. It was first cloned in 1985.
IP-10 functions include stimulation of monocyte, NK, and T-cell migration, regulation of T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation, modulation of adhesion molecule expression, and inhibition of angiogenesis. Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
