Mouse anti-Human CD205 antibody, clone HD30 recognizes human Lymphocyte Antigen 75, also known as CD205, DEC205, C-type lectin domain family 13 member B, or gp200-MR6.
Target Information
CD205 (LY25, Lymphocyte Antigen 75) is an integral membrane glycoprotein involved in antigen uptake, trafficking, and presentation, enhancing the induction of antigen-specific T cell immunity.
It is highly expressed by CD8+ dendritic cells (DCs) and also found in bone marrow Gr1+ cells, Langerhans cells, bone marrow-derived DCs (BMDCs), and thymic epithelial cells.
CD205 functions as an endocytic receptor that directs captured antigens to specialized antigen processing regions and can reduce proliferation of B lymphocytes.
Dysfunction of CD205 is associated with diseases such as pneumonic plague and lipid pneumonia.
