Mouse anti-Human Sphingosine 1-Phosphate Receptor 1 (S1P1) monoclonal antibody, clone 2B9, recognizes S1P1 (also known as CD363/EDG-1).
S1P1 is a bioactive lysophospholipid receptor and an inducible member of the G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily, playing a key role in various cellular processes.
Target Information
S1P1 is a G-protein coupled receptor for the bioactive lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P), coupled to the G(i) subclass of heteromeric G proteins.
S1P1 signaling activates RAC1, SRC, PTK2/FAK1, and MAP kinases, and is involved in cell migration through actin cytoskeleton reorganization and lamellipodia formation in response to SPHK1 activation.
S1P1 is essential for normal chemotaxis toward sphingosine 1-phosphate, embryonic heart development, and cardiac morphogenesis.
