EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)은 다양한 성장 인자에 반응하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제입니다. 과발현은 여러 암종과 관련이 있으며, EGFR은 생물학적 및 소분자 치료제의 표적입니다.
EGFR 유전자는 인간 염색체 7에 위치하며, HER/ERbB 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다 (ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4 포함).
EGFR은 세포막 수용체로, EGF 및 TGF-α 등의 리간드 결합 시 이합체화 및 세포질 도메인의 티로신 잔기 자가인산화를 유도합니다.
