For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Programmed death-ligand 2 (PD-L2, also known as B7-DC) is a member of the B7 ligand family within the immunoglobulin superfamily and acts as a ligand for PD-1, similar to PD-L1.
PD-L2 is primarily expressed in dendritic cells but can be induced in various immune and non-immune cells depending on the microenvironment. Expression is upregulated by cytokines such as IL-4, TNF-alpha, and IFN-gamma.
PD-L2 exhibits 2–6 times higher affinity for PD-1 compared to PD-L1 and functions as an inhibitory immune checkpoint molecule, regulating T-cell activation and cytokine secretion.
Additionally, PD-L2 interacts with RGMb (repulsive guidance molecule b), influencing immune tolerance in the lung through BMP and neogenin signaling pathways.
The human PD-L2 monomer consists of a 201-amino-acid extracellular domain, a 21-amino-acid transmembrane domain, and a 32-amino-acid cytoplasmic domain.
