Target Information
TMEM100 plays a crucial role in embryonic arterial endothelium differentiation and vascular morphogenesis via the ACVRL1 receptor-dependent pathway, activated by bone morphogenetic proteins such as GDF2/BMP9 and BMP10.
It also regulates nociception by modulating the interaction between TRPA1 and TRPV1 in dorsal root ganglia neurons, weakening their interaction and enhancing TRPA1 activity.
