- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Lumican is observed.

Target Information
LUM은 small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) 계열에 속하는 단백질로, decorin, biglycan, fibromodulin, keratocan, epiphycan, osteoglycin 등을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 콜라겐 섬유와 결합하며, 글리코사미노글리칸의 음전하가 섬유 간 간격을 조절합니다.
각막의 주요 keratan sulfate proteoglycan으로 존재하며, 신체의 다양한 결합조직 내에도 분포합니다.
Lumican은 콜라겐 섬유 배열, 각막 투명성, 상피세포 이동 및 조직 복구에 관여할 수 있습니다.
