- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-31 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information
Interleukin-31 (IL-31)은 T-cell에서 생성되는 사이토카인으로, IL-6 계열과 유사한 구조를 가지며 주로 Th2 세포에 의해 발현됩니다.
IL-31은 IL-31 receptor A와 oncostatin M receptor로 구성된 이합체 수용체 복합체를 통해 신호를 전달하며, JAK/STAT 및 AKT 신호 경로를 활성화합니다.
활성화된 단핵세포에서 IL-31 receptor A와 oncostatin M receptor의 RNA 발현이 유도되며, 상피세포에서는 지속적으로 발현됩니다.
IL-31의 과발현은 소양증, 탈모, 피부 병변을 유발하며, 인간에서는 아토피 피부염과 연관되어 있습니다. 따라서 IL-31은 항소양증 약물 개발의 잠재적 표적입니다.
