Target Information
Integrin alpha 4 (CD49d, ITGA4)는 integrin alpha chain 단백질군에 속하며, alpha와 beta 사슬로 구성된 이합체 막 단백질입니다.
Alpha4 사슬은 beta1 또는 beta7 사슬과 결합하며, MadCAM, VCAM, fibronectin 등의 리간드와 결합합니다.
특히 MadCAM은 integrin alpha4beta7의 주요 리간드로 알려져 있습니다.
HIV-1 envelope가 MadCAM을 모방하여 integrin alpha4beta7을 통해 결합 및 신호 전달을 유도할 수 있음이 보고되었습니다.
이 수용체는 말초 T 세포의 장 점막 이동에 관여합니다.
