Target Information
Placental Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP)는 염증성 질환 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 효소로, intestinal, placental, placental-like, liver/bone/kidney 등 네 가지 관련 알칼리성 포스파타아제 형태가 존재합니다.
PLAP는 임신 3기 동안 태반에서 발현되는 막 결합형 아이소엔자임(Regan 및 Nagao 타입)과 반응하며, 고환 생식세포 종양 식별에 유용합니다.
PLAP 양성 체세포 종양은 일반적으로 epithelial membrane antigen (EMA)을 발현합니다.
이 효소는 기질 광화와 관련된 기능을 가지는 것으로 제안되었으나, 기능적 형태가 결여된 생쥐에서도 정상적인 골격 발달을 보입니다.
PLAP는 고인산혈증증(hypophosphatasia)과 직접적으로 연관되어 있으며, 이는 고칼슘혈증과 골격 이상을 특징으로 합니다.
이 질환의 특성은 돌연변이에 따라 발병 시기와 증상 정도가 달라질 수 있습니다.
