Target Information
Glucocorticoid Receptor (NR3C1)는 글루코코르티코이드에 결합하는 수용체로, 전사 인자 및 다른 전사 인자의 조절자로 작용합니다.
이 수용체는 heat shock factor 및 immunophilin과 복합체를 형성하며, 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동합니다.
심장 조직(좌우 심방, 심실, 대동맥, 심첨, 중격 등)에서 발현되며, 다양한 프로모터 및 스플라이싱 변이로 여러 isoform을 생성합니다.
GR 유전자의 돌연변이는 글루코코르티코이드 저항성(cortisol resistance)을 유발할 수 있으며, 활성화를 위해 샤페론 단백질 복합체와 결합해야 합니다.
GR은 dexamethasone 등 스테로이드와 나노몰 농도 수준에서 결합합니다.
