Target Information
IDO1은 heme을 포함한 세포 내 효소로, tryptophan, serotonin, melatonin 등의 인돌 고리를 산화적으로 절단하여 생리활성 대사물(kynurenines)을 생성합니다.
IDO1은 다양한 조직과 macrophage, dendritic cell(DC)에 널리 발현되며, interferon(IFN)에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다.
tryptophan 분해를 통해 바이러스, 박테리아, 기생충의 성장을 억제하며, 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식, 종양 등에서 면역조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
