Target Information
CD50 (ICAM-3, intracellular adhesion molecule 3)은 백혈구에 발현되는 막관통 당단백질로, LFA-1 integrin의 counter-receptor로 작용합니다.
ICAM-3은 T 세포와 항원제시세포(APC) 간의 접촉을 매개하며, LFA-1의 ICAM-1 친화성을 조절하고 T 세포의 활성화 및 증식을 유도합니다.
또한 ICAM-3은 면역 반응 개시에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 수지상세포의 C-type lectin인 CD209(DC-SIGN)과 상호작용하여 수지상세포와 과립구 간의 신호 전달에 관여합니다.
