Target Information
IGSF5는 MAGI1과 함께 tight junction에서의 접착 기전을 제공하며, 신장 사구체 및 소장 상피세포의 투과성을 조절할 수 있습니다.
칼슘 비의존적 동종세포 간 접착을 매개하며, 고환에서는 tight junction 단백질보다는 세포 접착 분자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
정자세포(spermatogonia)와 Sertoli 세포 간의 접착에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
