Target Information
MATK (also known as Hyl) is a non-receptor CSK-type protein tyrosine kinase involved in signal transduction pathways important for megakaryocyte growth and differentiation. It can phosphorylate and inactivate Src family kinases and may play an inhibitory role in T-cell proliferation. MATK is also implicated in hematopoietic cell signaling and may be involved in certain breast cancer signaling pathways.
